Stephen C. Foster Elementary School

School Mission:
At Stephen C. Foster, we empower young minds to become responsible and creative leaders in a diverse world. We explore, learn and grow as one diverse family, celebrating languages and cultures to become unstoppable learners!

Foster serves children from 3k to 6th grade, almost all of whom live in homes where English is a second language, and most of whom are impacted by the effects of poverty. Major renovations to the school and the surrounding grounds have just been completed. Principal Torres and her staff have been working hard to improve the programs and outcomes for the students.

A core part of our ministry is the tutoring program with Foster staff in tandem with United to Learn. We assist students with reading, math, and English fluency. We also support the teachers by providing hospitality and other resources as they work with the students and their families.
