The Great Vigil is the first service of our celebration of Easter, and includes a Service of Light, a Service of Lessons, the Renewal of Baptismal Vows, and a celebration of Holy Eucharist. This service begins in darkness and traces salvation history up to the announcement of the resurrection of Jesus as our Easter celebration begins.
