Faith and Practice Series
Current Study: “The Communion of Saints”
Sundays, June 7 through June 14, 2026 @ 10 a.m.
Led by the Clergy
The calendar of the church year is a surprisingly rich resource for helping us live faithful lives. Not only does the calendar help us observe the seasonal rhythms of the church year, it also introduces us to the “great cloud of witnesses” (Heb 12.1) who walk with us on our earthly pilgrimage. This series will introduce us to some of the remarkable individuals who are recognized on the calendar and will explore ways their example and teachings can be of help to us today. If you’ve always wondered what you could possibly have in common with Wulfstan, Thomas Ken, Catherine of Siena, and others like them, this series is an excellent opportunity to find out.
Bible Series
Current Study: “Exile & Return”
Sundays, June 7 through June 28, 2026 @ 10 a.m.
Led by the Rev. Dr. Andrew Grosso
When the Hebrew people were conquered by the Babylonian empire, it prompted a complete rethinking of Hebrew faith and practice. The experience of exile in Babylon and eventual return to Israel shaped the development of Jewish belief well into the first century of the Common Era. Understanding the Babylonian captivity thus provides us with a more informed perspective on the life and ministry of Jesus and the experience of the first Christians. It also provides us with helpful insights for thinking about how we can be faithful people in our own day. Attending this series will enable you to recognize the points of contact between the Old Testament, the New Testament, and our own day.
Parent Series
Current Study: “Seven Decisions That Change Everything as a Parent”
Sundays, June 7 through July 26, 2026 @ 10 a.m.
Led by Dr. Tim Smith
Parenting is made of thousands of decisions, both great and small. But what are the God-glorifying decisions that really matter as a parent? We actually have the ability to break free from the pitfalls of impulsive decisions and develop positive, godly parenting habits? What if becoming the person and parent you want to be starts now, before you make the next decision? In this series, we’ll look at seven life-defining decisions that will help you overcome the daily temptations, distractions, and influences that constantly bombard us, leading to decision fatigue and debilitating fears and defaulting to the easiest choice. Join us as we learn seven decisions that will prepare you for both your small and big moments and decisions of marriage and parenting tomorrow.
