The Rev. Greg Pickens

The Rev. Greg Pickens worked in executive search and as an Applications Manager before being approved for seminary. Graduating from Nashotah House with an M.Div. Degree, he was ordained Deacon in 2005 and Priest in 2006. While Rector of Saint Mark’s, Irving, Greg served the Diocese of Dallas by holding several appointed positions. In 2011, he was called to Saint Michael and has since served as Associate for Children, Youth, and Family Ministries; Associate for Operations; and finally, in 2016, Associate for Pastoral Care.
In July 2025, Greg retired as Saint Michael’s Associate for Pastoral Care. We are grateful that he will continue leading the JOY! Service on Sunday mornings, beginning in September 2025.
Greg enjoys photography, reading, cooking, and traveling with his wife Noralyn and daughter Anastasia.
