We are thrilled to welcome the Rev. Dr. Sally Lombardo to both Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church and Saint Michael Episcopal School as Assistant Priest and Chaplain on July 14, 2026. Sally is from Houston, where she attended St. John’s School and later, Baylor University in Waco. Majoring in English and History, Sally began a career of teaching college English while raising five children with her husband Randy in Beaumont, Texas.

At St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Beaumont, Sally began a journey of teaching the Bible and mentoring young women in biblical living and parenthood. She also spent time as a childbirth doula, offering class education and birth companioning. Sally later attended George W. Truett Theological Seminary, earning her Doctorate in Spiritual Formation and Ministry. After a season of seminary teaching and work as a Spiritual Director, Sally spent a year at Virginia Theological Seminary, where she received a Diploma in Anglican Studies, and was ordained a priest in the Diocese of Texas in February 2026.

Sally has been serving a bilingual church in Austin, teaching Bible stories to young preschoolers and leading chapel services. She is very excited to be on a campus with lots of energy each day, especially from the buzz of our little ones. We look forward to having her join our team this summer.
