Dallas College → Texas Tech → Social Services

“The tuition support from Project Moses empowered me to pursue my education and confidently achieve my goals, without the burden of financial limitations holding me back. I never imagined I’d be where I am today.”

–Maria

When Maria was first connected with the Project Moses Ministry of Saint Michael and All Angels, she carried with her a quiet but fierce determination to rebuild her life on her own terms. With the support of Project Moses, she enrolled at Dallas College, with tuition covered, books in hand, and for the first time in years, a clear path forward. What began as a single step of faith grew into something neither she nor her supporters could have fully imagined: a scholarship offer from Texas Tech University, where she went on to earn her degree in social services.

Today, Maria lives closer to the family she once feared she might never return to, working each day alongside other survivors who are navigating the same difficult road she once travelled on. Project Moses did not simply pay a tuition bill; it helped restore Maria’s calling. In the quiet and steady tradition of faithful service, the ministry walked beside Maria as she found her footing and then watched with gratitude as she began to walk alongside others.

Project Moses

Project Moses is a mission founded by parishioners to highlight the truths of human trafficking and share the Light of Christ with its survivors.

This ministry focuses on the scourge of human trafficking in our community through education and awareness, advocacy with legislators and law enforcement, and partnerships with many agencies working on the rights and rehabilitation of the many survivors of this crime.
