Certified Nursing Assistant Program

“Securing a job will give me the opportunity to become financially independent, and most importantly, it will allow me the possibility of moving closer to my daughter, strengthening our relationship and improving both of our lives.”

–Hope

For years, the distance between Hope and her daughter felt insurmountable, not just in miles, but in the weight of circumstances that had upended her life. When she applied to Project Moses for help completing her Certified Nursing Assistant certification at the Texas Career Institute Dallas, she wrote honestly about what this opportunity meant: not just a credential, but a future, one in which she could become financially independent, find stable work in a nursing home or healthcare facility, and one day, move closer to the child she loves.

Project Moses paid her tuition. And in doing so, the ministry participated in something sacred, the quiet, faithful work of helping a mother find her way back. Hope has now completed her certification and is pursuing employment in healthcare, each step bringing her closer to the life she envisioned. This is the work Project Moses was called to do: to see the image of God in each person who comes to us, and to respond with the resources, the patience, and the belief that restoration is always possible.

Project Moses

Project Moses is a mission founded by parishioners to highlight the truths of human trafficking and share the Light of Christ with its survivors.

This ministry focuses on the scourge of human trafficking in our community through education and awareness, advocacy with legislators and law enforcement, and partnerships with many agencies working on the rights and rehabilitation of the many survivors of this crime.
