The story of Ruth explores how God’s sovereign purposes are at work even when life is hard and all seems lost. A short folktale about famine and family, the book of Ruth explores the power of loyalty and restoration in an exiled community during the time of the judges in Isreal. Ruth’s relationship with Naomi, her mother-in-law, teaches lessons about God’s provision alongside the courage and prayer of two faithful followers. The series will explore the historical context, symbols, and meaning of this powerful and moving story.
