Job and the Problem of Suffering
February 21, 2027 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Group: Engaging the Word (Bible Series)
In Room 203
Led by the Rev. Dr. Christopher D. Girata
Sundays, February 7-28
Why is there such suffering? Where is God when life is painful or unjust? Join our Rector, Chris Girata, for a four-week exploration of the Book of Job, one of Scripture’s most powerful examinations of suffering, faith, and the mystery of God. Along the way, we will wrestle with the problem of evil and pain in the world and consider why Scripture sometimes challenges easy explanations for suffering. Together, we will ask what Job can teach us about how we can remain faithful to God when life does not make sense.
