At Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, as part of our Easter celebrations, we have a lovely tradition of giving 100% of our undesignated offerings to outreach projects making an impact in their ministry area.
This year, the Mission and Outreach Committee has chosen to support ministries that promote “celebrating the Lord’s resurrection with hope and help.” Your generous gifts will be shared among the following organizations:
VNA Hospice House
The first and only assisted-living facility in North Texas designed specifically for seriously ill individuals with no place to turn is currently underway. Katherine’s House, scheduled to open in Dallas in 2027, will provide a safe, compassionate home for patients who lack stable housing, caregiving support, or financial resources. This five‑bedroom residence will offer 24‑hour care and full hospice services in a warm and dignified environment.
Help and Hope for the Hill Country, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church Kerrville
Formed in response to the devastating July 4 floods in Kerr County, Help and Hope for the Hill Country continues to lead long‑term recovery efforts for affected families and first responders. St. Peter’s Episcopal Church mobilized to provide financial assistance, emotional and spiritual care, relief supplies, mobile support units, and sustained community presence as the region rebuilds. The ministry remains a vital resource, offering grants, volunteer coordination, and pastoral care as recovery continues.
Holy Spirit Episcopal School Scholarship Fund- Tela, Honduras
Saint Michael parishioners have participated in mission trips to Tela, Honduras for over 20 years, building long‑standing relationships rooted in faith and partnership. This fund provides partial scholarships for students at Holy Spirit Bilingual Episcopal School in Tela, including support for teachers’ children. These scholarships help ensure access to strong bilingual education, empowering students with the academic foundation and skills needed to thrive following their graduation.
