I Believe in Angels

November 1 – 29, 2026

Share the holidays with our friends at Jubilee in our annual holiday event, I Believe in Angels (IBIA). Parishioners are invited to sponsor angels (children and seniors) through financial donations and/or by purchasing Christmas gifts, which will be wrapped and donated to families. Volunteers are needed to run Sunday tables, wrap gifts, bake cookies, and distribute gifts.

Tables will be set up outside the church and chapel on Sundays for parishioners to select angels and make donations. Donated gifts can be selected from an Amazon Wish List and then shipped to 4344 Colgate Ave, Dallas, TX 75225, or you may purchase a gift suitable for your angel and drop it off at the church. The final day to drop off gifts is Sunday, December 6.

 

  • Gift Selection: November 1 – November 29, 2026
  • Sunday Gift Drop-Off (8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.): Church and Chapel Narthexes
  • Weekday Gift Drop-Off and Amazon Deliveries: Collection bin in the Church and Chapel Narthexes and at the reception. The final day to drop off gifts is Sunday, December 6.

Cookie Baking, Gift Wrapping, and Gift Distribution Volunteers

Baking Christmas Cookies
Volunteers are needed to spread holiday cheer by baking cookies for I Believe in Angels support staff and volunteers. Pick a favorite recipe and share your family’s holiday cookie tradition! Place your cookies in a disposable plastic bag or container (note: these will not be returned) and deliver them to the home of Johanna Corrigan (date TBA).

Gift Wrappers
We will be wrapping gifts for the Jubilee children and teens at Jubilee Park and Community Center on (dates TBA). Please register for a shift and know that all instructions and materials will be provided.

Gift Distribution Volunteers
We will be distributing the gifts for the Jubilee children and teens at Jubilee Park and Community Center on Saturday morning, December (Date TBA). Please sign up to join us in this effort, and please note that you will be outside, so dress warmly!

Sunday Registration Tables

Volunteers are needed on Sundays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to help walk parishioners through their IBIA selection and sponsorship of angels (both children and seniors). Please sign up for a shift (or two!) to help with this important step of the process on a Sunday when you’ll already be at Saint Michael.
