Join our rector, Chris Girata, as he guides us through Matthew’s Gospel this year. Held on Wednesdays starting September 16 at 10:30 a.m. in Parish Hall or online!
Matthew is unique for its strong emphasis on Jesus as the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy and as the long-awaited Jewish Messiah. Matthew contains extensive teaching sections, including the Sermon on the Mount, which places special focus on righteousness, discipleship, and the Kingdom of Heaven. Together, we will explore how Matthew’s Gospel not only reveals who Jesus is, but also challenges us to consider what it truly means to follow Him.
