Thanksgiving Note from Rector Chris Girata
Dear Friends,
Thanksgiving Day is one of my favorite holidays, especially because we spend time with those we love most, and who love us in return. Giving thanks for the gift of love, that sweetest gift that we receive from God through Christ, is an expression of our faithful witness in the world. Tomorrow, I pray you will hold each other in your hearts as you share love with family and friends. May this prayer bless you and your home this Thanksgiving Day and always.

A Thanksgiving Prayer
Gracious God, we give you thanks for the beautiful gift of life and for all our many blessings. On this day, we pray for those who cannot be with their loved ones, those burdened by fear and pain, and those who have lost hope. This year, we hold in our hearts all those who need your healing touch and those caring for the sick. May the food before us and the love between us give us strength and courage to be instruments of your blessing to the world you love. All this we ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
