DESCRIPTION:Join us for the brightest week of the year at this summer’s Vacation Bible School\, Illumination Station! While many people claim to know about Jesus\, many are in the dark about who He really is. During VBS kids will explore all the ways light brightens\, illuminates\, reflects\, and reveals. We invite all children ages 4 (as of September 1\, 2026)\, through upcoming 5th graders to join us for a fun week. \nRegister Here \nVacation Bible School will run from Monday\, June 8 through Thursday\, June 11 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.\, and join us for Family Night on Sunday\, June 7 @ 5:30 p.m.! \nAdult & Youth Volunteers Needed! \nAdult & Youth volunteers are needed to help run Vacation Bible School. VBS can’t happen without volunteers like you! There are a variety of daily opportunities available. \nAll our youth are invited to come serve at VBS this summer. Earn as many as 20 service hours by helping lead the children of Saint Michael in games\, songs\, and crafts. \nContact Meghan Houk at mhouk@saintmichael.org to volunteer.

Dr. Benek\, an internationally recognized pastor\, theologian\, and thought leader at the intersection of faith and technology\, will guide us through these complex and compelling questions. \nWith insights featured in major global outlets such as The New York Times\, The Guardian\, BBC\, and more\, Dr. Benek brings both academic depth and real-world experience to the conversation. He has advised companies\, policymakers\, and governments on the ethical and societal impact of AI\, and currently serves as Pastor of First Miami Presbyterian Church and CEO of The CoCreators Network\, an organization committed to the vision of Better People\, Better Tech\, Better World. \nPub Theology is a speaker and music series designed to engage the wider community in meaningful conversation. Benek is an internationally recognized pastor\, theologian\, and thought leader at the crossroads of faith and technology. His insights on artificial intelligence and theology have been featured in major outlets including The New York Times\, The Guardian\, BBC\, Le Monde\, and The Associated Press\, and he has advised companies\, policymakers\, and governments on AI’s ethical and societal impact. \nHe holds advanced degrees from Princeton and Pittsburgh Theological Seminaries and is pursuing a Ph.D. at Durham University\, where his research explores technological futurism and Christian eschatology.
