SUMMARY:Veterans Day Service & Reception
DESCRIPTION:In the Church \nSaint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church will be hosting their annual Veterans Day Celebration on Sunday\, November 8 with a 4 p.m. service in the Church and a reception taking place right after in the new Plaza and Atrium at 5 p.m. This event is open to the entire community\, so bring your friends and neighbors and join us in saying "Thank you!" to our Veterans for their incredible service. We will have reserved seating at the front of the Church for participating Veterans. The organists will play the military medley and the branch flags will process up the aisle toward the end of the service. All Veterans are invited to fall in line behind their branch’s flag and join us at the altar for our annual group photo. \n\n\nAs we prepare a special tribute to recognize the military veterans of our church family\, we invite you to submit the names of loved ones who have served or are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces. \nWe are seeking names of Saint Michael members who are: \n\nCurrently serving on active duty\nServing in the reserves\nMilitary veterans\nOr have passed away\n\nPlease submit names by Sunday\, October 25\, so they may be included in the worship bulletin at our Veterans’ Day service\, so we honor their service and sacrifice. \n\n\nSubmit Names Here\n\nDuring the reception\, we are honored to welcome a special guest\, Patriot PAWS Service Dogs. Since 2006\, Patriot PAWS has been dedicated to empowering Veterans with mobility challenges\, Post‑Traumatic Stress\, military sexual trauma\, and traumatic brain injury through highly trained Service Dogs who change lives with dignity and purpose. \nPatriot PAWS will host a friendly meet‑and‑greet where you can learn more about their mission\, hear stories of the Veterans they serve\, and meet one of their remarkable Service Dogs. We invite you to stop by\, connect\, and celebrate this meaningful work. \n\n\nSupport Patriot Paws
