DESCRIPTION:Group: Lectio Divina \nRoom 200 \nLed by Nancy Somodevilla \nTake some time to get out of the hurried ways of life and the noise around us to draw close to God with others through Lectio Divina. This is a contemplative way of reading the Bible or other texts and was established by Benedict in the 6th century. It provides a time of meditation and quiet focusing upon a reading or even art\, followed by discussion and growth with others. Lectio is not a Bible study or even an alternative to Bible study but something radically different. It understands Scripture as a meeting place for a personal encounter with the living God.
