Weddings at Saint Michael

CHRISTIAN MARRIAGE is intended to be a celebration
for those connected in some way to our parish. We do not “do
weddings”; rather we bless marriages in the context of Saint
Michael and All Angels as a worshipping community. The
canons of the Episcopal Church declare that all weddings are
public ceremonies; any member of the parish is invited to attend
a wedding. However, we are not set up as a marrying service.
We only agree to hold a marriage for those who are committed
members or those who intend to make Saint Michael and All
Angels their home, or those who through history or family
are connected to our parish—a connection that goes beyond
sentiment and convenience.
