Stewardship is our response to our faith in God.  All that we have comes from God, and we respond by offering a portion of our time, talent, and treasure to God’s work in the world.

This year’s Stewardship theme is Our Common Purpose: One Cup, One Life, One Prayer, and our chosen scripture is Psalm 116: 12-13: “How can I repay the Lord for all His goodness to me?  I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the Lord.”

Every gathering of worship is a vivid reminder of our common purpose: the common cup is lifted at the altar, reminding us that we are invited to receive the bountiful grace of God and then to pour out our life for others.

One Cup:         We share the sacrament.

One Life:          We worship in unity.

One Prayer:      We are embraced by God in prayer.

With a membership as robust as that of Saint Michael and All Angels, it is important to focus on what we have in common.  Through our sharing, we are strengthened.  In this season of Stewardship, we are asked to share not only our time and our talent, but also our treasure, giving back to God.

By making a pledge to Saint Michael and All Angels, we provide the foundation on which our church can base its financial plans for clergy and staff, mission and outreach, pastoral care, childcare, education, and all the other programs that make our parish special.
