Music is an integral part of worship at Saint Michael. Many of our services offer unique choral singing opportunities for young children through adults. Also, the Music Department provides both an inspiring and meditative musical experience outside of the worship service throughout the year, consisting of performances of major sacred choral and orchestral works and organ recitals.

CHILDREN’S CHOIRS
“ST. GABRIEL CHORISTERS”: A New Children’s Choir
Saint Michael will be starting a new children’s choir this fall! Any children from Grade 1 who attend the 8:45 Church or 9:00 Chapel Services can participate. Choristers will learn about music, liturgy, and teamwork while enjoying the opportunity for fellowship with one another. The weekly rehearsal will be on Wednesday afternoons from 4:45 to 5:30. They will present a monthly offering at the Church and Chapel Services.
The Joy Mass Choir
The Joy Mass Choir provides an introduction to choral singing for our youngest singers aged three to seven.
Regular Schedule

Saint Michael Boys Choir
For Boys ages 5-12 who sing for special occasions during the year. Please contact the music department for more information.
CHOIRS FOR ALL AGES
The Saint Dunstan Choir
The Saint Dunstan Choir, for singers age five through adult, provides a unique opportunity for families to sing and worship together on Sunday while still receiving age-specific musical instruction during the week. On Wednesdays the choir enjoys a meal together and then divides into two separate but simultaneous rehearsals specifically designed for adult and children respectively. The choir sings a varied repertoire for the 8:45 a.m. Sunday Church Holy Eucharist.
Dinner: Wednesday 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.

ADULT CHOIRS
The Oratorio Choir
The Oratorio Choir, for singers of high school through adult age, sings a vast and challenging repertoire spanning over 1,000 years. The choir sings regularly at the 11:00 a.m. Sunday Church Eucharist, and also sings for special evensongs and services throughout the year. Though weighted toward the Anglican tradition, its repertoire ranges from European Classical to African-American Spirituals to Appalachian shape-note hymns.

Schola Cantorum
The Schola Cantorum is a professional chamber group that sings for various services throughout the year. Please contact the music office for more information.
